Job summary

Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) invites applications for On-Call Firefighters at Pomeroy Fire Station. This role supports emergency response and community protection by attending station drills and responding to calls.

Applicants must report within 5 minutes of alert, meet physical fitness standards, attend a 2-hour drill night weekly, and may hold other jobs with employer consent. Four contracts available: 119 Hour, 91 Hour Banded, 91 Hour Daytime, and 40 Hour Daytime; download

Qualifications

• Must be able to respond to emergency calls by reporting to the fire station within 5 minutes of being alerted.
• Must meet the required standard of physical fitness and strength.
• Must attend a mandatory 2 hour drill night each week.
