Job summary

The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) invites applications for On-Call Firefighters at Keady Fire Station. This role is essential for protecting the local community and relies on part-time firefighters to ensure rapid response.

You must be able to respond to emergencies within 5 minutes of being alerted and attend a mandatory 2-hour drill night each week. If you're employed elsewhere, consent to attend emergency calls is required; training will develop a wide range of skills.

Qualifications

• You must be able to respond to emergency calls by reporting to the fire station within 5 minutes of being alerted.
• You must attend a mandatory 2 hour drill night each week.
• If you are already in employment you can still work as On-Call Firefighter as long as your employer gives you consent to attend emergency calls.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and report to Keady Fire Station within 5 minutes of being alerted.
