Job summary

INEOS Grangemouth is recruiting an experienced Olefins Logistics Team Leader to manage the Olefins Logistics and Shipping Team, ensuring safe, timely and cost-effective movement of Olefins products. You will oversee planning, scheduling, nomination, documentation and surveyor activities to support production and customer demand.

You will collaborate with trading and shipping partners, optimise costs, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement in contracts adherence and KPIs.

Qualifications

• University degree in a technical or numeric discipline and equivalent industry experience.
• Significant experience within a chemical supply chain environment.
• Knowledge of olefins products, their shipping operations and SHE requirements.
• Proficient with SAP ERP SD/MM modules.
• Knowledge of marine law, demurrage principles and trading conventions.
• Strong commercial acumen and contract management experience.
• Marine vetting experience and risk awareness in chartering.
• 3rd party contract management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Olefins shipping export and import programme.
• Ensure adherence to SHE and marine policies for Olefins movements.
• Manage planning, scheduling, nomination, documentation and surveyors.
• Oversee pipeline infrastructure, capacity allocations and outages.
• Liaise with trading partners and shipping to optimise costs.
• Prepare and monitor Olefins budget; explain variances.
• Maintain accurate cost records and pursue cost reductions.
• Collaborate with product managers to balance supply/demand.
• Lead engagement with Trading and Shipping on contracts.
• Organise timely performance reviews with service providers.
