Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a technical discipline lead engineer to manage the OLE/OCS design team in the UK and Ireland. You will drive growth of OLE services, recruit and mentor staff, and maintain strong client engagements across Rail projects.

The role requires Chartered Engineer status, broad rails design expertise, and the ability to deliver high-quality technical solutions within project deadlines. Travel across the UK is expected.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Chartered Engineer membership or equivalent status from recognised institution.
• Strong multi-disciplinary design understanding across design stage gates.
• Experience as CRE/CEM in major infrastructure/transport projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth of the OLE team and mentor junior engineers.
• Drive sustainable growth and strengthen market position in Rail OLE.
• Build and maintain senior-level client relationships and engage stakeholders.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality OLE engineering deliverables per standards.
• Coordinate OLE quality aspects and project quality management.
• Oversee resource planning and strategic recruitment decisions.
