Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a compassionate care assistant to support older people across Essex. This part-time role covers 15 hours over three mornings weekly, with travel across the region.

Training is provided and visa sponsorship is not offered through direct application. Responsibilities include personal care, aiding nutrition and hydration, medication support, and running tailored activities to promote independence and social interaction across both on-site and community

Job description

This permanent post sits within the ECL team, supporting older people across Essex. The work centres on personal care, nutrition and hydration, and medication support for people living with dementia, Parkinson's or frailty, plus tailored on-site and community activities. It is a part-time role of 15 hours across three mornings a week, with travel across Essex. Experience is preferred but not essential, as full training is given, and applicants needing visa sponsorship cannot be considered through direct application.
