Job summary

Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist for the Older People’s Memory Assessment Service in Leeds. The role focuses on specialist neuropsychological assessment, formulation, and contributing to MDT work, with opportunities for supervision and limited line management.

The post is 0.8 WTE (30 hours per week) on a permanent basis, with a pro rata salary in the NHS Spinal grade band. Enquiries are encouraged before applying.

Qualifications

• Doctoral level training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology with HCPC registration.
• Ability to provide specialist neuropsychological assessment and formulation.

Responsibilities

• Screen referrals for neuropsychological assessment and provide specialist assessment and formulation within MAS.
• Contribute to memory MDT meetings and develop psychological thinking among team members.
• Provide clinical supervision to other psychological practitioners within OPS; line-manage some practitioners.
• Input into training initiatives and collaborate with university programmes.
• Use evaluation, audit and research skills to improve service delivery.
