Job summary

Responsibilities

• Act as a consultant resource to the Coombe, covering Penzance and Isles of Scilly complex care and dementia psychiatry services, with casework and cross-disciplinary advice.
• Provide supervision to junior medical staff and assess competencies under medical education frameworks as appropriate.
• Carry out administrative duties related to patient care.
• Participate in service and business planning, annual consultant appraisals, and contribute to the mental health service strategy.
• Attend and contribute to the Trust's academic programme, CPD activities, lectures and seminars.
• Maintain GMC registration, MH Act approvals, and professional conduct.
• Collaborate with managers and colleagues to ensure efficient service delivery and governance.
