Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Maidenhead is seeking a Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to deliver expert care for older adults with mental health conditions. You will assess, diagnose, and manage complex cases, develop biopsychosocial treatment plans, and provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams.

This full-time, permanent post offers a competitive salary (£113,565–£150,569 per year), UK visa sponsorship, and opportunities for teaching, research and service development within

Competenze

• Provide specialist care for older adults with mental health conditions.
• Deliver evidence-based assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Clinical leadership and multidisciplinary team support.
• Collaborate with GPs, community teams and carers.
• Contribute to service development, governance and research.
• Support education and training of medical students and junior doctors.

Mansioni

• Assess and manage older patients with complex psychiatric and cognitive conditions.
• Develop and implement biopsychosocial treatment plans.
• Provide leadership, supervision and guidance to multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Coordinate care with GPs and community teams.
• Support service users and carers through clinical interventions and care planning.
• Participate in clinical audits, research and service evaluations.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and mental health service development.
