Responsibilities

• Provide consultant resource to the Coombe complex care and dementia psychiatry service, including individual casework referred from multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage, appraise and give professional supervision to junior medical staff during duties with the medical director.
• Undertake administrative duties associated with patient care.
• Participate in service and business planning for the service and annual consultant appraisal.
• Attend and participate in the Trust's academic programme, including lectures and seminars as part of CPD.
• Maintain GMC registration and MH Act section 12(2) approval and comply with codes of conduct.
• Collaborate with local managers and colleagues to ensure efficient running of services.
