Job summary

Trendsetter Engineering, Inc. in Aberdeen, United Kingdom, is seeking a Project Engineer – Intervention Solutions (UK) to lead subsea intervention systems projects.

You will manage design, testing, maintenance, and field support, interfacing with clients and internal teams to ensure delivery per specs and regulatory standards. Travel up to 60 days per year may be required; a strong background in oil and gas, subsea equipment, and drafting/analysis tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ industry experience in Oil & Gas (Drilling, Completion, Production, or Intervention).
• Design or operations experience with subsea equipment.
• Experience in maintenance/refurbishment of equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Systems (Word, Excel, MS Project, Visio).
• Proficient in 2D and 3D drafting software.
• Experience with ANSYS analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership and support for intervention systems including design, assembly, testing, repair, and maintenance.
• Provide engineering support for customer intervention opportunities, including permit approval processes and interface engineering.
• Act as beach support for offshore field operations, including interventions and installations.
• Lead MOC and NCR processes and drive product reliability improvements.
• Develop field manuals, drawings, and procedures for assets and offshore projects.
