Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is seeking an OHL (Overhead Line) Mobile Plant Fitter to maintain, service and inspect plant across our Energy Business Projects. During outages this role will be site-based across the UK, with off-season work at the Magnor Plant / Morgan Sindall Plant depot, Swynnerton.

You will work to health and safety and environmental standards, perform required inspections, and maintain comprehensive records.

Qualifications

• Experience working on specialist OHL plant and equipment.
• NVQ Level 3 plant maintenance or City and Guilds certification.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and inspect plant and equipment at Swynnerton and various site locations.
• Carry out quality inspections and ensure compliance with LOLER and company procedures.
• Support outage projects and on-site breakdowns, repairs and PPM requirements.
• Keep all maintenance records up to date.
• Undertake additional duties and training as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that work is delivered in full compliance with health and safety, quality and environmental legislation as well as compliant with Morgan Sindall and customer procedures
• Maintain, service and inspect Morgan Sindall’s plant and equipment based at Swynnerton and at various site locations
• Carry out Quality Inspections and required legislative compliance checks on OHL assets in a timely manner. Support LOLER inspections and ensure all equipment remains Compliant.
• Support Site Based delivery during outage projects and undertake onsite breakdowns, repairs and PPM requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance records are kept up to date.
• Undertake additional duties and training as required both at depot and site locations.

Skills and Experience

• Experience working on specialist OHL plant and equipment.
• Will have expert knowledge on all types of plant and equipment
• Will have experience working with operational teams
• Experience in working a site-based construction or infrastructure environment.
• Demonstrate strong Health and safety awareness and environmental requirements.
• Full UK driving license
• NVQ level 3 plant maintenance or equivalent City and Guilds mechanical/maintenance certification
