Job summary

ScottishPower is seeking a Transaction Project Manager in Glasgow to lead commercial aspects of the UK offshore wind OFTO divestment process. You will work with the Senior Transaction Manager and Transaction Cost Manager, coordinating with Ofgem and future bidders to maximise value while ensuring timely responses and governance.

The role involves frequent UK travel, managing multiple workstreams, and delivering outcomes within a regulated programme.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret and challenge financial, technical, legal and commercial analysis for offshore wind or energy transactions.
• Experience leading due diligence, data rooms and information requests in complex transactions.
• Strong commercial judgement to manage risks and opportunities across multi-workstream divestments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence at senior levels across internal and external partners.
• Clear communication of requirements, risks and commercial positions with accountability for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with diverse multi-functional teams across the Global Offshore Wind business.
• Oversee vendor Due Diligence and data room analysis.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Ofgem, bidders and DESNZ to support OFTO Transaction.
• Manage information requests to ensure timely, accurate responses.
• Influence cost allocation for Offshore UK projects to reflect incurred OFTO costs.
• Deliver key transaction sub-workstreams within the OFTO workstream.
• Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and obtain approvals to progress stages.
• Organise lessons learned sessions to capture value for future projects.
• Develop creative solutions to resolve conflicts with counterparties.
• Plan OFTO Transaction activities in line with the regulated programme and broader objectives.
