Job summary

Cadeler is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to help win offshore wind installation contracts by shaping innovative technical proposals that are also commercially competitive. You will work with Tender Managers and Technical Sales Managers to define solutions, assess risks, and ensure our content supports feasibility and profitability.

Qualifications

1–5 years’ experience in an engineering role within the wind and/or offshore industry.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Commercial awareness when developing technical solutions.
Ability to explain technical topics clearly to different audiences.

Responsibilities

Create high-quality technical documentation to strengthen bids (method statements, vessel programs, layouts).
Perform tender-stage engineering analyses (vessel positioning, deck layouts, site assessments, lifting arrangements).
Develop technical templates and tools to improve tendering efficiency and competitiveness.
Collaborate with Project Engineers, Vessel Crews, Clients and Suppliers to ensure compliant technical packages.
Support sales meetings with technical insights that highlight commercial benefits.
