Job summary

Cadeler seeks a Technical Sales Engineer (WTG or FOU) to join our offshore wind team. Based in the UK with Copenhagen ties, you will turn complex engineering challenges into winning technical proposals, collaborating with Tender Managers and Project Engineers.

You will shape vessel concepts, assess risks, and produce compelling technical content that aligns with commercial goals while ensuring safety and quality across bids.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Maritime Engineering, Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-5 years' experience in an engineering role within wind and/or offshore industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D modelling and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Tender Managers to turn complex offshore engineering challenges into winning proposals.
• Define solutions, assess risks, and ensure technical content supports operational feasibility and commercial competitiveness.
• Create high-quality technical documentation, vessel programs, and layouts for bids.
• Perform tender-stage engineering such as vessel positioning, deck layouts, site-specific assessments, and lifting arrangements.
• Support sales meetings with technically sound insights highlighting commercial benefits.
