Job summary

Vulcain Engineering seeks an Offshore Storekeeper to join our offshore completion team on a major wind project in the North Sea. You will manage stores, issue and track tools, maintain inventories, and coordinate with offshore supervisors to ensure smooth material flows for shifts.

The role requires offshore storekeeping or wind-turbine experience, strong materials management skills, and proficiency with digital inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Offshore wind or marine construction experience preferred.
• Experience on offshore wind turbines, installation vessels, or service operation vessels.
• Background in offshore storekeeping, materials management, or as an offshore wind technician.
• Strong understanding of tooling control, materials handling and equipment management.
• Proficiency with digital systems for inventory tracking and reporting.
• Ability to work a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation with 12-hour shifts.
• Valid offshore medical and offshore safety training relevant to wind operations.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Manage offshore storekeeping and inventory control on board a service operation vessel.
• Issue, receive and track tools, equipment, consumables and spare parts for completion activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure material traceability.
• Coordinate with offshore supervisors and technicians to prepare tooling for shifts.
• Monitor equipment condition, calibration status, and certification; quarantine defective items.
• Liaise with onshore logistics to coordinate receipt, return and transfer of equipment.
• Ensure storage areas and hazardous materials are kept clean, safe and compliant.
• Support deck operations and equipment handling when required.
• Note: role involves client site access and drug/alcohol testing per client policy.
