Job summary

Vulcain Engineering is seeking an Offshore Storekeeper (Offshore Wind) to join a service operation vessel for completion and commissioning work in the North Sea. The role involves managing offshore storekeeping, issuing/receiving tools and parts, and maintaining strict inventory records to support safe, efficient offshore operations.

The position requires proven offshore experience, familiarity with offshore wind projects, and the ability to work a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation with 12-hour

Qualifications

• Proven offshore experience in offshore wind, offshore energy, or marine construction.
• Experience working on offshore wind turbines, installation vessels, or service operation vessels.
• Background in offshore storekeeping, materials management, logistics or related.
• Strong understanding of offshore tooling control, materials handling, and equipment management processes.
• Comfortable using digital systems for inventory tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Managing offshore storekeeping and inventory control on board the service operation vessel.
• Issuing, receiving, and tracking tools, equipment, consumables, and spare parts.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records using digital systems and ensuring full material traceability.
• Coordinating with offshore supervisors and technicians to prepare tooling and materials for shifts.
• Monitoring equipment condition, calibration status, and certification; quarantining defective items.
• Liaising with onshore logistics and supply teams to coordinate receipt, return, and transfer of equipment during port calls.
• Ensuring storage areas and hazardous materials are safe and compliant.
• Supporting deck operations and equipment handling activities as needed.
