Job summary

SSE Renewables is recruiting a Project Engineering Manager to lead multi-disciplinary engineering efforts for major offshore wind projects. You will drive design development, provide technical direction and assurance, and influence major project decisions to deliver value and resilience.

You will collaborate with specialist teams, manage resources, and shape delivery plans to meet critical milestones while fostering engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering activities on offshore wind projects or similar large-scale infrastructure.
• Strong technical understanding of design development, technical assurance and risk management.
• Ability to understand both technical and commercial implications of engineering decisions.
• Proven experience leading, influencing and developing multidisciplinary teams within complex projects.
• Collaborative leadership style focused on engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver offshore wind projects.
• Drive engineering design development and ensure solutions meet objectives, timelines and value.
• Provide engineering assurance and leadership for key project decisions.
• Work with specialist teams to ensure capability and resources for success.
