Job summary

Taylor Hopkinson is seeking a qualified Coating Inspector for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in Germany. The role focuses on surveillance of coating manufacturing processes, witnessing inspection points per ITP, and review of As Built documentation to ensure compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering background with substantial experience in steel processing, corrosion protection or welding, and hold or be eligible for FROSIO Level 2 or NACE Coating Inspector

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or technical diploma in mechanical preferred.
• 5 years experience in steel processing with background of corrosion protection or welding works.
• Qualification as FROSIO Level 2 or NACE Coating Inspector Level 2 (minimum requirement).

Responsibilities

• Surveillance of the complete coating manufacturing process until final coating inspection.
• Witness of Inspection points according to ITP.
• Review on As Built documentation.
• Reporting of Inspection.
• Follow-up on open topics and NCRs.
