Job summary

Fugro is seeking an Inspection Engineer to join the Marine Asset Integrity (MAI) team in Aberdeen. You will support onshore and offshore project prep, set up data recording systems, edit data offline, and perform quality control for structural and pipeline inspections.

You’ll collaborate with inspectors, surveyors, engineers, and ROV personnel to ensure accurate data collection. The role requires HND level qualifications, CSWIP 3.4u/3.3u, and offshore ROV experience.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications to a minimum of HND level in Engineering or IT.
• CSWIP 3.4u or 3.3u required; offshore experience with ROVs preferred.
• Offshore ROV inspection experience in UKCS desirable.
• MS Office experience and good IT skills required.
• Ability to understand technical engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient execution of ROV platform and vessel-based inspections.
• QC of inspection data recording and real-time video data.
• Record and report anomalies to Inspection Coordinator/Client.
• Assist in project reporting and documentation control.
• Promote teamwork and effective shift handovers.
• Maintain awareness of computer OS content related to the project.
