Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an experienced Rope Access Plater to support offshore structural repair and steelwork replacement on an offshore platform. This contract runs from 25 September 2026 to 16 October 2026 and is outside IR35.

You will fabricate and install replacement steel from templates, perform handrail/stair tread/grating replacements, and work with safety-critical offshore teams. Valid OPITO BOSIET/FOET, MIST, OEUK Offshore Medical, IRATA levels, and Donut Training are required or

Qualifications

• Valid OPITO BOSIET or FOET
• MIST
• OEUK Offshore Medical
• Offshore Medical Certificate valid through mobilisation date
• IRATA qualification (any level)
• Donut Training - desirable

Responsibilities

• Carrying out offshore steelwork repair and maintenance activities.
• Fabricating and installing replacement steelwork from templates and drawings.
• Completing repair orders including handrail replacements, stair tread replacements, and grating replacements.
• General plating and fabrication work.
• Working safely within offshore operational environments.
• Strong focus on safety and quality standards
