Job summary

OEG is seeking a Project Planner to join the Topside Division in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on supporting planning and coordination of project activities to ensure schedules, budgets, and processes are followed from initiation to completion.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Project Management, or similar).
• Experience using controls/planning software such as Primavera (P6), Oracle Primavera Cloud, Power BI, Microsoft Project and Office Applications.
• Strong time management and communication skills; ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project planning documentation, including tender schedules, detailed offshore schedules, and as-built analysis.
• Estimate the project timeline and keep schedules on track by creating detailed baseline schedules with tasks, milestones, and deadlines.
• Estimate and allocate resources such as labour, materials, and equipment.
• Create and maintain project records including schedule data metrics and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Track and report key planning metrics, including progress curves, lookahead reports, and monthly updates.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by providing input on process enhancements and business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Tendering and Engineering to ensure smooth project execution and resolve schedule issues.
