Job summary

Our client is seeking an Offshore Mechanical Technician for a 6 month PAYE contract, based out of Aberdeen with a 2on/3off rotation. FPSO knowledge is essential to perform maintenance and repairs to the installation.

The role requires carrying out planned preventive maintenance, reporting in CMMS, and leading safety briefings as part of the team. Training and safety compliance are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience working in offshore mechanical maintenance on FPSO.
• Strong communication and ability to explain technical issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Mechanical Engineer in maintenance and repair of the installation.
• Carry out planned preventive and remedial maintenance per CMMS work instructions.
• Maintain detailed CMMS reporting and documentation.
• Work leader role and isolation authority when required.
• Participate in safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Read and interpret drawings, reports and manuals to identify faults and repairs.
