Job summary

Bilfinger UK is seeking a Fabric Maintenance Project Engineer to support offshore delivery and onshore planning. You will liaise with Client and Project Engineers, review surveys, and manage HR issues while ensuring safety and quality in blasting/painting contexts.

The role requires extensive offshore experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple trackers and documentation in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• NACE or ICORR Level 3 qualification.
• SAP competency.
• Read Drawings/ISO standards.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Coatings background.
• Coatings inspection experience.
• Offshore project experience.
• Managing offshore activities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Time management and presentation skills.
• Productivity tracking.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of contract fabric maintenance delivery.
• Liaise with Client and Project Engineers on scope and planning.
• Review timesheet data and update trackers.
• Complete offshore visits and surveys/audits.
• Monitor progress against plan and costs against budget.
• Pre-mob and scope briefings for offshore teams; manage HR issues.
• Prepare work packs, method statements and job cards for offshore activities.
• Maintain and report on corrosion damage data and trackers.
• Stand-in for asset project engineers during absences.
