Job summary

Motive Offshore Group Ltd seeks an Equipment Trainer to deliver training on Motive lay equipment, ensuring safe, efficient operation and adherence to HSEQ and company procedures. You will develop knowledge across onshore and offshore personnel, traveling to client locations as needed.

You will collaborate with the Learning & Development team in the UK and globally, shaping how we learn and grow as a value-driven, hard-working team.

Qualifications

• Current offshore certification and offshore survival training.
• At least 5 years' experience in equipment/machinery in offshore industry.
• Good practical knowledge of Motive equipment.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Good organisational skills with workload management.
• Ability to coach/train others in safe use of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Adopt and promote Motive People Values across the organisation.
• Develop strong stakeholder relationships (clients, colleagues).
• Lead by example in HSEQ compliance and sustainability.
• Plan, develop and deliver training and competency programmes for Motive equipment.
• Ensure training follows procedures, risk assessments and safe practices.
• Provide practical training and mentoring to Equipment Operators.
• Supervise and coach Equipment Operators when required.
• Support clients with professional service and identify knowledge gaps.
