Job summary

Spirit Energy is seeking an Electrical Technician for offshore work in Morecambe Bay. The role focuses on safe operation of electrical equipment and conducting planned and unplanned maintenance in line with work programmes and procedures.

You will perform inspections, calibration, and troubleshooting, coordinate with I&E teams and vendors, and support HSEQ, with responsibilities spanning planning, stock usage, and contract supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining offshore electrical equipment to design standards.
• Ability to perform planned and unplanned maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and HSEQ policies.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned inspections and calibrate electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults and coordinate with onshore and vendors.
• Administer work orders and maintain accurate records.
• Supervise contractor work and ensure quality control.
• Support emergency response and health, safety, and environment practices.
• Plan and prioritise maintenance within shift and site program.
