Job summary

CB&I Asset Solutions seeks an Electrical Technician offshore on a 2x3 rotation for a 12‑month fixed-term contract. You will support installation activities, ensure incident-free operations and maintain asset integrity on the NEO NEXT GP3 platform.

You will work under the Electrical Supervisor, maintain power distribution availability and liaise with projects, vendors and other departments. Essential qualifications include electricians regs, HV/LV switching, and PTW knowledge.

Qualifications

• Valid Electricity at work regs, COMPEX essential.
• HV/LV Switching experience preferred.
• Written and verbal communication skills to present technical issues clearly.
• Ability to build positive relations with peers and stakeholders.
• Experience with electrical equipment: generators, protection devices, HV/LV cables.
• Knowledge of Safe Systems of Work (PTW) and related procedures.
• Experience with electrical maintenance standards and legislation.
• Competence in electrical safety procedures and Authorised Electrical Person status.

Responsibilities

• Support the Responsible Electrical Person for installation in electrical work incl. isolations and switching.
• Reports to the Electrical Supervisor.
• Commit to incident-free operations and safe practices.
• Support health, safety, environmental, asset integrity obligations.
• Ensure availability and reliability of the power distribution system.
• Collaborate with Electrical Supervisors to meet performance targets.
• Liaise with other departments and shifts; prepare for scheduled activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and data in systems.
• Handover complete and compliant per procedures.
• Maintain competence and undertake required training and assessment.
• Perform maintenance for vessel, utilities and process equipment per standards.
