Job summary

Streamline Services Consultancy Limited in Purfleet is seeking an Offload Team Leader / Forklift Driver for a busy recycling operation. This hands-on role combines forklift driving, team leadership and waste handling.

You will oversee daily offload, manage a small team, ensure health and safety procedures, and support forklift drivers across the site. Candidates should have forklift experience, a valid licence, and prior leadership experience; the role is physically demanding.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift driving experience.
• A valid forklift licence/certificate.
• Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar role.
• Good awareness of Health & Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the daily offload operation.
• Manage and support a team of 2 employees.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Support other forklift drivers and members of the team.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Assist with the handling and movement of waste and recyclable materials.
• Handle food waste and other waste materials.
• Carry out manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
• Follow site procedures and operational instructions.
• Assist with other duties as required across the recycling operation.
