Job summary

H2e Commerce in Winsford is seeking an Office Supplies Category Manager to own the development, management and presentation of our Office Supplies category across our ecommerce sites.

You will work with Purchasing, Marketing and Development to identify growth opportunities, optimise product ranges and improve online customer experience. The role offers a hybrid pattern with one day work from home after full training and standard hours 8:00am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Experience in category management, buying, merchandising, ecommerce or a similar commercial role.
• Experience in managing, developing or optimising product ranges.
• Relevant qualification in Business, Commercial, Marketing, Ecommerce would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the Office Supplies product range, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Assess new supplier and OEM product opportunities and support new product introductions.
• Identify range gaps, duplication and opportunities to rationalise or expand the product range.
• Support the development and growth of own-brand products.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing, market trends and customer demand to identify opportunities and improve pricing position.
• Analyse sales, margins, pricing and product performance data to inform decisions.
• Support promotional campaigns, seasonal activity and marketing initiatives.
• Work with Ecommerce Content teams to ensure products and categories are accurately structured and presented.
• Identify opportunities to improve product discoverability, on-site search and customer experience.
• Review and improve category structures and online merchandising.
• Work with Development teams on website and category improvement projects.
• Support merchandising and cross-selling opportunities.
• Provide commercial insight to support wider business decisions.
