This website is operated, hosted and managed by Williams Lea Limited, 3 Savannah Way, Leeds LS10 1AB, United Kingdom.

Salary: £30,080 per annum, plus company benefits

Location: London, city

Contract: Full Time

Shifts: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, working shifts between the hours of 8.00am -8.00pm with one hour’s unpaid lunch

Work model: Fully onsite

Williams Lea seeks Office Services Operator to join our team!

Williams Lea is the leading global provider of skilled, technology-enabled, business-critical support services, with long-term trusted relationships with blue-chip clients across investment banks, law firms and professional services firms.

Purpose of role

The Office Services Operator is responsible for providing a proactive on-site office support service to the legal fee earners within this law firm in the heart of the city. This includes various duties such as administration, customer service, print and mailroom.

Key responsibilities

  • Scan, print and copy documents for the client ensuring quality checks and correct returns.
  • Handle incoming post: sort, scan, and email to relevant departments.
  • Manage outgoing post through Franking/Royal Mail.
  • Book and manage couriers efficiently.
  • Build relationships with clients, managing their perceptions and expectations by proactively supporting their needs.
  • Support colleagues and work as a team to achieve the best results for clients.
  • Comply with departmental procedures.
  • Assist with stationery: check and stock cupboards, record items that need ordering.

Personal attributes

  • A proactive attitude, willing to floor walk to support fee earners.
  • Good PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Previous post room and reprographics experience is preferable but not essential.
  • Able to think outside the box and make decisions in the absence of the Team Leader or Senior Operator.
  • Able to handle difficult situations well and act appropriately.
  • Display an adaptable and flexible approach.
  • Team player – personable and willing to help out wherever required.
