Job description

About This Role

This is an outstanding opportunity to join the Trust as an Office Manager working across at least two of our 20 schools in South Yorkshire.

The Diocese of Sheffield Academies Trust offers a rare opportunity to play a key role in the development and growth of our business and operations team. The successful candidate will need to be flexible enough to thrive in an ever-changing environment, working across at least two schools in Rotherham or Sheffield.

We are looking for a dedicated, dynamic, and creative colleague committed to teamwork and developing excellence for our pupils. Previous experience working in a school environment is desirable but not essential. We offer excellent conditions of service, including enhanced annual leave entitlement, some hybrid working, and a very generous local government pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  1. Be organized and experienced with Microsoft Office products and school systems such as Management Information Systems.
  2. Be flexible and able to use initiative to solve problems.
  3. Effectively multitask and cope with a busy school office environment.
  4. Ability to forge and maintain positive working relationships.
  5. Be ambitious for personal and school development.
  6. Support the trust’s vision to enable every child to flourish without limits.

DSAT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment. An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and online search are required prior to employment.
