Overview

Role: Office Manager
Salary: £34,000
Shifts: Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm
Location: Prestonpans

I'm currently recruiting for an Office Manager for my client based in Prestonpans. You will be supporting the business across all departments, providing day-to-day administrative support as well as guidance, co-ordination, and direction where needed. The successful candidate will also work closely with the HR team and contribute to broader HR initiatives where relevant.

Responsibilities
  • Manage filing systems and document control
  • Oversee office-based Health & Safety checks and actions
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding invoices or payments
  • Submit payroll data for new starters
  • Track and report annual leave to HR each quarter
  • Promote employee benefits and internal communications
  • Act as a point of contact for general HR queries and meeting support
  • Maintain visitor inductions and safety briefings
  • Ensure fire safety equipment is up to date
  • Work with suppliers to maintain a safe working environment
Ideal Candidate
  • MS-office and proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and be able to draft reports
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A degree or equivalent professional qualification in business
  • CIPD qualification desirable
  • Experience of working in manufacturing organisation would be advantageous
  • People management experience
  • Experience of using SAP advantageous
