Job summary

ICE – Industrial Cleaning Equipment invites applications for an Office Cleaner role based in Totton. This permanent part-time position (15 hours per week, Monday-Friday 07:00–10:00) offers a salary of £9,913.80 with benefits, and a strong induction into ICE practices and ESG commitments.

You will maintain office spaces using modern cleaning equipment, join an expanding team, and have access to on-the-job training and progression opportunities within ICE's Fleet & Property Department.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
• Willingness to learn new technology.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience with autonomous cleaning equipment is desirable, training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all office floors, including communal areas.
• Clean desks and office equipment.
• Upkeep of the coffee machine.
• Empty waste and recycling bins and dispose of rubbish.
• Clean and sanitise toilets, washrooms and kitchen facilities.
• Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper and towels.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly after use.
• Operate and support use of cleaning co-bots and other industrial cleaning equipment.

100% Office based (Totton) £9,913.80 (26,436.80 FTE) + Benefits

This is a permanent part-time role (15 hours a week), working Monday-Friday 07:00 am-10:00am within our Fleet and Property Department.

What part will you play?

A vital one! As an Office Cleaner, you will be taking ownership of the day-to-day maintenance of our office using our state-of-the-art and innovative cleaning equipment.

• Upkeep of all floors, including communal area.
• Cleaning of desks and office equipment
• Upkeep of coffee machine
• Empty waste and recycling bins and dispose of rubbish appropriately.
• Clean and sanitise toilets, washrooms, and kitchen facilities.
• Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning products.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly after use.
• General use of cleaning co-bots and industrial cleaning equipment, which will enhance your cleaning duties
