Job summary

Frontline Security Solutions in Chalfont St Peter is seeking an Operations Cost Control Support to join our team. Based in our office, you will collect cost data, assist with budgets, forecasts and cost-to-complete values, and help ensure timely and accurate invoicing to drive swift payments.

You will work closely with Service Managers, Project Managers and procurement teams, applying cost-control procedures and producing weekly and monthly cost reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operations support, cost administration, finance support, or data analysis.
• Experience with ERP/job-costing platforms or field service management systems is beneficial.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

Responsibilities

• Collect and validate cost data including engineer timesheets, materials, subcontractor invoices, equipment hire, and travel expenses.
• Assist with updating job budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete values.
• Ensure invoices are produced correctly, on time and to customer requirements for swift payment.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support implementation of operational efficiencies.
• Assist with tracking profitability of service contracts, warranty work, maintenance agreements, and installation projects.
• Collaborate with Service Managers, Project Managers, Procurement and Commercial teams to provide financial guidance.
• Ensure teams follow cost-control procedures (job costing, material booking, procurement compliance).
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports for review with Cost Control Lead.
• Support financial tracking of installation projects and service engagements from initiation to completion.
