About the role:

We’re looking for a passionate and resourceful Office & Events Coordinator to join our growing team.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, inclusive workplace for all team members and visitors, while leading the delivery of memorable events of all kinds and sizes.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys designing warm and engaging spaces, and brings a keen eye for detail and hospitality. You’ll be central to our team culture—helping to foster a collaborative, engaging, and supportive environment where everyone can thrive and do their best work.
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension depending on future needs and company growth.

  • You love planning and delivering meaningful events — from team off-sites to industry showcases.
  • You’re comfortable working with suppliers and handling logistics.
  • You’re a confident communicator who builds positive relationships with ease.
  • You understand the importance of workplace wellbeing, safety, and inclusivity.
  • You're based within a commutable distance to our London Soho office and can join us in person three times a week.
  • Experience in creative, entertainment, or tech environments is a plus.
What you’ll be doing

This is a multifaceted, people-centered role with a variety of responsibilities. Your day-to-day activities may include:

  • Ensuring Health & Safety policies are implemented and regularly updated.
  • Managing office supplies, including stationery, beverages, and general amenities to support a comfortable and efficient workspace.
  • Keeping IT equipment inventory current and placing orders as needed.
  • Planning and delivering internal and external events—both in-person and virtual—from initial concept to execution, including on-site troubleshooting when required.
  • Supporting Playstack presence at larger industry events and conferences.
  • Collaborating with the creative team to produce branded materials and merchandise for events.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to process receipts and invoices
  • Coordinating team travel and accommodation for domestic and international trips.
  • Arranging occasional shipping and courier tasks within the UK and internationally.
  • Tracking expenses related to events and office operations to ensure they stay within budget.
  • Liaising with vendors and service providers, including negotiating contracts and managing logistics for successful event execution.
