Job Overview

Job purpose

We are a solicitors company based in Glasgow. Our aim is to provide excellent legal services to the local community in a friendly, approachable and empathetic way. We have traditional values but a modern outlook and way of providing our services.

We are looking to recruit an office administrator apprentice to join our team, with day to day tasks including -

  • Handling of telephone calls
  • Open physical files, file hard copy documents and manage filing cabinet space, scan, print and photocopy, organise incoming mail and link with relevant files
  • Create court bundles
  • Locate files for appointments and court commitments
  • Locate related files and documents for closed matters,
  • Prepare documents for storage
  • Any other duties as may be required

You will learn all aspects of Microsoft applications including; Excel, Word, Outlook and Office 365. You will learn about our internal contract processing, preparing reports, communication and customer service. You will learn how to communicate in a busy office environment, communication and teamwork, You will also learn how to use our in-house I.T systems and databases, diary management and emails.

  • National 5 English required.
  • Good communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel.
  • In addition to requirements determined by department head.
