Job summary

Scientia Academy is seeking an Office Administrator to join our busy school office. You’ll be the welcoming face for parents, carers, visitors and staff, supporting the Office Coordinator to ensure the office runs efficiently and warmly.

The successful candidate will have experience in general office work, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a professional approach to front-of-house duties. This role supports the school community with clear communication and meticulous organisation.

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Experience of reception or front‑of‑house duties.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to write clear, professional emails and letters.

  • Confidence working with a wide range of people.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for parents, carers, visitors, contractors, staff and children.
  • Support the Office Coordinator to keep the school office running smoothly and professionally.
  • Greet and assist visitors and ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks and general office duties.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative office culture.

We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our busy school office and play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our academy.

As the first point of contact for parents, carers, visitors, contractors, staff and children, you will be the welcoming face of our school. Working alongside the Office Coordinator, you will help ensure that our office operates efficiently, professionally and with warmth.

The working hours for this role are 1.00 - 4.00pm Mon-Thurs & 1.00-3.30pm Fri
