Job summary

White Meadows Primary Academy, part of REAch2 Academy Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic HLTA to support learning across key stages. The post requires you to be organised, flexible and capable of planning and resourcing when covering classes.

Evidence of Level 2 in English and Maths and experience in a school setting is essential. Good written and spoken English, a proactive approach, and commitment to safeguarding are required. Visits to the school are welcomed by appointment.

  • Level 2 in English and Maths required.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred.
  • Good standard of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • Support learning across classes as HLTA.
  • Utilise planning and resourcing when covering a class.

Job description

White Meadows Primary Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed HLTA who is:



  • passionate about securing positive outcomes for children.

  • highly motivated, organised, and flexible in the way you work to best meet children’s needs.

  • an effective communicator, highly skilled in building positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and professionals.

  • able to utilise planning and resourcing when covering a class.

  • reliable, flexible, and willing to support the school in moving children’s learning on


The successful candidates will:



  • Have a Level 2, or above, in English and Maths

  • Have previous experience of working effectively within a school setting.

  • Have a good standard of written and spoken English and a general understanding of Maths!
