Job summary

Silkmore Primary Academy is seeking an enthusiastic HLTA to support learning across the primary age range. The successful candidate will work flexibly, using planned resources to cover classes and help raise achievement.

You will have a Level 2 or above in English and Maths, prior experience in a school, and strong written and spoken English with a good grasp of maths. You will join REAch2 Academy Trust's supportive network and enjoy opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Cover classes using planning and resourcing.

About this Role

Silkmore Primary Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed HLTA who is:

  • passionate about securing positive outcomes for children.
  • highly motivated, organised, and flexible in the way you work to best meet children's needs.
  • an effective communicator, highly skilled in building positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and professionals.
  • able to utilise planning and resourcing when covering a class.
  • reliable, flexible, and willing to support the school in moving children's learning on
The successful candidates will:
  • Have a Level 2, or above, in English and Maths
  • Have previous experience of working effectively within a school setting.
  • Have a good standard of written and spoken English and a general understanding of Maths!
