The Role

We are now seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our reading office on a full-time basis. In this varied and rewarding role, you will be at the heart of the office reporting directly into the Head of Quality & Compliance. Whether you are setting up new starters, managing office supplies, greeting guests, or preparing reports, your work will make a real difference to how the business functions.

Duties:

  • Be the first point of contact for visitors and incoming calls, creating a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Ensure the office is well-organised and fully stocked by managing suppliers and ordering essentials.
  • Set up IT and equipment for new starters, including desks, phones, and system logins.
  • Support with reporting and data entry, maintaining accurate records across systems.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly reports, including performance data and compliance checks.
  • Work closely with our external IT, CRM, and phone providers to resolve any technical issues.
  • Support the Head of Quality & Compliance with health and safety processes and internal audits.
  • Monitor the performance of our job boards and share regular updates with the wider team.
  • Help plan team lunches, social events, and incentives that support a positive office culture.
  • Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks, including preparing presentations and internal documents.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Previous experience in a busy administrative or office support role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • A keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Friendly and professional communication style.
  • A flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to adapt quickly.
  • Confidence in managing multiple priorities while maintaining high standards.
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
