We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to support the daily operations of our office for a 12 month contract (with possibility of going permanent after). In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting both the purchasing and sales functions, ensuring seamless coordination between suppliers, customers, and internal departments.

The position involves liaising between two sites, but based in the Gloucestershire site, Newent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase and sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm lead times, pricing, and order status.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
  • Generate purchase requisitions and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare shipping and delivery documentation.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients and suppliers as well as team members across both of UK sites.
  • Support with general office tasks and answering phones.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles is a plus
  • Graduate in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, Logistics, Finance or related subject.

OR NVQ level 2 or higher in Business Administration, Logistics or related subject.

  • Working hours Monday-Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm
