Job summary

Network Rail in Glasgow is seeking a Technician in Works Delivery Distribution & Plant. The role focuses on maintaining the track network, vegetation management, drainage, and related infrastructure with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The successful candidate will join a field-based team, working outdoors in all weather conditions, often moving across challenging terrain to deliver safe, reliable railway operations.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 1 or 2 in relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills in person and in writing.
• Knowledge of maintenance, inspection, faulting and renewal techniques.
• Ability to lead and develop a team for safe, efficient work.

Responsibilities
