JCB Powertrain supplies JCB Engines, Axles, and Transmissions to a range of OEM Distributors and Direct Customers. Over the past five years, the business has experienced rapid growth and now requires a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to grow sales according to the 5-year business plan. JCB Power Systems is seeking a New OEM Engine Sales Manager to support and develop existing distributors and direct OEMs.

What does this role involve day-to-day?

  • Account management and growth of new and existing OEMs and Distributors using Salesforce.
  • Set and support annual Distributor targets and objectives to drive business growth and development.
  • Provide bespoke pricing solutions.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and communicate market requirements to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Coordinate incoming communications to internal stakeholders.
  • Provide weekly activity and business highlight reports.
  • Support and develop JCB training Distance Learning Modules, classroom sessions, and schedules for JCB OEM Powertrain components.
  • Assist with technical marketing content and annual marketing plans.
  • Develop product sales presentations.
  • Empower Distributors to be technically and commercially independent.
  • Produce annual sales plans for the region.
  • Identify and seek out new Distributors for the region(s).

This role is suited for you if you have:

  • Experience in dealer/distributor development, engineering, OEM management, or commercial management.
  • Financial management skills.
  • Service support experience.
  • Experience with OEM and Distributor update meetings.
  • Knowledge of end customer training and education.
  • Understanding of emissions legislation.
  • Market growth analysis skills.
  • Business administration experience.
  • Experience supporting shows and events.
  • Knowledge of the off-highway market and related sales experience.
  • Familiarity with the JCB Group & Businesses.
  • Marketing, business, or engineering diploma or degree.
  • Willingness to undertake new training.
  • Prepared to travel internationally up to 30%.
