Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust invites applications for a Clinical Fellow in Oculoplastics. The post is based across Stoke Mandeville, Wycombe General and Amersham Hospitals.

It offers exposure to outpatient assessment, clinical decision-making, and both oculoplastic and cataract surgery. The role includes potential cataract operating lists, fellow-level support to the Acute Eye Casualty Clinic, and opportunities for audit, research, and supervision of junior trainees.

Qualifications

• Experience in Oculoplastic conditions is preferred, with logbook evidence of surgical outcomes.
• Audit and research activities are actively encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide logbook evidence of surgical experience and audit of outcomes.
• Manage outpatient assessments and decision-making in oculoplastic and cataract surgery.
• Occasionally undertake cataract operating lists and support the Acute Eye Casualty Clinic when required.
• Supervise junior trainees as needed.
