Are you currently working in freight forwarding and looking to take the next step in your career?
We're working with a well-established, employee-owned freight forwarding business that's looking to add an Ocean Import Operator to its growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with some initial experience in freight forwarding who wants to develop their operational knowledge, take on more responsibility and build a long-term career within the industry.
The business has built a strong reputation for its customer-focused approach, supportive working environment and commitment to developing its people. With a broad international network and a diverse customer base, it offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a professional, collaborative team.
You'll support the day-to-day management of ocean import shipments, working closely with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines and hauliers to ensure cargo moves smoothly from origin through to final delivery.
This role would suit someone at an early stage in their freight forwarding career who is keen to learn, develop and progress.
You might currently be working as a Junior Freight Forwarder, Import Clerk, Logistics Coordinator or in a similar position, and be ready for an opportunity to broaden your experience.
You don't need to know everything already. The right attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in developing within freight forwarding are just as important as your existing experience.
