Job Opportunity: Ocean Freight Operator

We are seeking an Ocean Freight Operator for a global freight forwarder located in Kent. The company recently moved into new, vibrant offices, offering a great working environment.

Package:

• 22 days holiday, increasing to 25 days plus bank holidays
• Company pension contribution of 7.5%
• Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 9 am to 5 pm
• Death in service benefit

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage ocean import processes from start to finish effectively
• Maintain exceptional customer care standards, including daily communication via phone
• Handle customs entries (knowledge required)
• Knowledge of CargoWise is preferred
• Build and maintain relationships to increase business with existing clients
• Invoice jobs upon completion
• Experience in import or export is essential
• Previous experience working for a freight forwarder is required
• Operational skills in freight management
