Ocean Export Coordinator
Location: Bristol
Salary: up to £32,000

Our established client with over 25 years of industry experience is seeking an experienced and organised Ocean Export Coordinator to join its dedicated team.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in Ocean freight forwarding, shipping logistics, or international removals, and who is confident in providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Completing start to finish exports for ocean shipments
• Input client data and shipment details into internal systems
• Coordinate with in-house transport and warehouse teams regarding collections and packing
• Prepare purchase and sales invoices using an in-house accounting system
• Liaise with shipping agents and produce Bill of Lading instructions
• Track international shipments and update customers accordingly
• Communicate with import agents for customs clearance and delivery coordination
• Complete export customs entries using the HMRC CDS system

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience within a freight forwarding company or international shipping
• Experience completing custom clearances and preparing documentation
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
• Self-motivated with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
