The Role

We seek a Paralegal for our Portal Team in the OL/PL department. We value tenacity, ability, and enthusiasm over formal qualifications. Responsibilities include managing a caseload, with strong supervision, training, and a positive working environment, including amenities like a roof garden and table tennis.

Responsibilities

• Take initial instructions from clients and complete FN009
• Record accident circumstances, injuries, and potential losses
• Obtain FOAs for medical records and requests from medical agencies
• Research to ensure claims are submitted correctly
• Gather evidence such as photographs, CCTV footage, receipts
• Draft allegations considering relevant law
• Review claimant injuries and ensure protocol adherence
• Submit Claims Notification Forms or Letters of Claim
• Follow up with defendants and insurers
• Respond to denials or disclosures
• Weekly supervision meetings
• Keep clients updated
• Target of 60+ CNF/LOC submissions per month for bonuses

Person Specification

• Good customer care skills, empathy, and information gathering ability
• High accuracy
• Experience in administration or customer service preferred
• Experience with OL/PL portal and Proclaim system advantageous
