Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the A-rated Stroke Unit at Wycombe Hospital as an Occupational Therapy Clinical Support Worker supporting the acute stroke rehabilitation team and rehabilitating patients.

The role is suitable for independent, motivated, hardworking, and enthusiastic staff wishing to work as part of the dynamic Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams.

Responsibilities
  1. Undertake therapy treatments and interventions on the Stroke and Medical wards and sometimes in patients' homes, as identified by Therapists, to support transfer or discharge.
  2. Work as part of a seven-day therapy service, including weekends.
Requirements

Previous experience in hospital or community settings working with patients with neurological, medical, or fall-related conditions is necessary. This post is not suitable for qualified Therapists.

Training and Support

Successful candidates will receive full training for the role, along with regular supervision and appraisal.
