Job summary

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) invites applications for an Assistant Team Manager – Occupational Therapy to join Adult Social Care Operations in Maidenhead. This full-time, permanent role offers hybrid working, a salary of £50,602 - £55,120 per annum and generous leave and pension.

You will provide advanced OT practice, lead the Front Door duty, oversee referrals, mentor staff, and collaborate with health colleagues to deliver timely, person-centred responses and drive

Qualifications

• HCPC registration with a recognised Occupational Therapy degree.
• Significant post-qualification experience in adult social care with supervisory/leadership responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act and ability to apply in practice.
• Excellent communication, leadership and partnership-working skills; cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Front Door Occupational Therapy duty, triage and allocation function.
• Provide professional leadership, supervision and mentorship to OT staff.
• Manage a small complex caseload and support safeguarding, Mental Capacity assessments and risk planning.
• Collaborate with health colleagues, partner agencies and multidisciplinary teams.
• Drive service improvement and promote strengths-based practice and innovative approaches.
