Job summary

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is seeking an Assistant Team Manager - Occupational Therapy (Front Door Team) to provide advanced OT practice and operational leadership within Adult Social Care. You will oversee referrals, allocations, supervise OT and social work staff, manage a small complex caseload, and drive service improvements while promoting independence and person-centred responses.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and OT degree are required.
• Post-qualification experience in adult social care leadership is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act and applying them in practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Front Door OT duty, triage and allocation to ensure timely referrals.
• Provide professional leadership, supervision and mentoring to OT staff and manage complex cases.
• Oversee a small complex caseload, safeguarding and risk management planning.
• Collaborate with health colleagues and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve outcomes for residents and carers.
• Drive service improvements using strengths-based practice and innovative approaches.
